Lessons are private, hour long, and $40 each. In that lesson you learn how to lead, groom, and tack your horse as well as ride. Riding time is usually 30-45 minutes. Tons of individual attention is given on experienced, safe, and quality school horses. Friends and family members are welcome to stay and watch lessons as long as children are under supervision. During the summer and school breaks kid's horse camp is also available. Camp is typically 4 hours long in the morning and $75 a day. During camp kids ride, do crafts, and play games. There is also additional time to cover things not normally in a regular lesson like clipping, bathing, showmanship, cleaning tack, and educational activities such as breeds, colors, and parts of the horse. Birthday parties are offered for groups of up to 8 kids, 5 yrs and up. They include hands on grooming, feeding the horses treats, and a pony ride for all. Parties can be tailored for your individual needs. WLA is an educational and friendly environment centered around safety, hard work, and THE BEST Arabian and Half-Arabian horses. Hopefully you'll be having a lot of fun while you're at it! Feel free to contact me with any questions, to schedule an appointment, tour the farm, or watch a lesson.
